In 2020 the conference brought together significant number of participants - about 200 people: the management of specialized state institutions (Rosreestr, FSBI Center for Geodesy, Cartography and SDI, Directorate of Military Survey of the RF General Staff of Armed Forces, FSUE VNIIFTRI, JSC Roskartography, JSC "Russian Space Systems", etc.), higher educational and scientific institutions (MIIGAiK, Gubkin Russian State Oil and Gas University, Kazan Federal University, NII Transneft, etc.), as well as commercial Russian and foreign companies.
The Conference provided a possibility to find out about the latest new technologies, equipment and software for geospatial data acquisition and processing, to discuss the prospects for market development, to learn about training programs for industry specialists, and attend master classes of the leading companies.
Sigma Metrix presented a report at the plenary session of the Conference. Spartak Chebotarev, the President of the company, reported on the 3D object model of the New Moscow territory, automatic change detection in the capital construction facilities, and automated updating of 3D object model databases for the Unified Real Estate Register for property taxation. The key project outcomes were as follows:
